Budget tyres that keep you safe for less
We know cost matters, so we offer a range of budget-friendly tyres. Budget tyres give essential safety and durability at a price that will not stretch your wallet.

Who budget tyres suit
They suit drivers who cover shorter distances or drive on less demanding routes. They may not offer the advanced features of higher-end tyres, but they still provide the grip and reliability needed for everyday use, a sensible way to stay safe on the road without overspending.
Are budget tyres safe?
Every tyre sold for use on UK roads must be approved to legal standards and carry an approval mark on the sidewall. A lower price is not a licence to skip safety; the difference lies in the extras. Budget tyres tend to give up some wet grip, noise comfort or tread life compared with a premium tyre, and the tyre label shows how each one grades.
Whatever you choose, keep pressures right and replace tyres before the tread reaches the legal minimum of 1.6mm. Our guide to when to change tyres explains how to check.
Making a budget tyre go further
- Check pressures often. Under-inflated tyres wear faster and use more fuel. See our guide to tyre pressure.
- Watch for uneven wear. It can point to alignment or balance problems that shorten any tyre's life.
- Compare cost over time. A tyre that costs less now but wears out sooner may not save money over the miles you cover.
Budget brands we fit
We supply and fit Aptany, Delinte and Linglong.
If you drive a lot, it can pay to compare the cost over the life of the tyre. Our guide to premium vs budget tyres helps you decide.
Budget tyre questions
Do budget tyres wear out faster?
They can, depending on the model and how you drive. That is why it is worth comparing the cost per mile as well as the price on the day, and keeping pressures right.
Can I fit budget tyres on some wheels and better ones on others?
Tyres on the same axle should match. Ask the fitter before mixing brands; our guide to what tyres you need covers replacing two tyres or four.
Is a budget tyre fine for a single replacement?
Often, yes. If you only need one tyre, see our single tyre charge page, and tell us what is on the other wheels so we can recommend a suitable match.
Do you fit budget tyres at home?
Yes. The fitter comes to your home, workplace or the roadside, anytime and anywhere and quotes before setting out.
