Booking FAQ: your tyre questions answered
As a local tyre fitter we pride ourselves on excellent service. These are the questions we hear most about choosing, booking and paying for tyres. If yours is not here, call us any time.
Finding the right tyre
The size shown for my registration is not the size on my car. Why?
Registration lookups match DVLA data with tyre size data from the SMMT to work out the tyres your vehicle was built with. Some cars are fitted with upgraded wheels and tyres, so always take a moment to check the size actually on your car before you book.
I entered my registration and my car does not come up.
Check you have not typed the letter O instead of a zero. We have data for many light commercial vehicles, but we cannot guarantee every one. We do not currently offer motorcycle tyres. If you recently transferred a personalised number plate, the DVLA can take a few weeks to update. Or simply give us your tyre size, for example 205/55 R16, and speed rating, and we will list the tyres available.

I ordered the wrong size by mistake. What do I do?
We will do our best to help, but it is your responsibility to check that the size you choose is right for your vehicle. If you are worried, contact us as soon as possible and we will check the details of your booking.
Prices and payment
Do the prices include fitting?
Our prices are for fully fitted tyres and include a new valve, wheel balancing and disposal of your old tyres.
When do I pay for my tyres?
When you book online there is no deposit, and you pay when the job is done and you are completely happy. For an emergency call-out we take a deposit first, and we tell you the amount before we set out.
Changing or adding to a booking
Can I amend my booking?
Yes. Tell us as soon as possible by phone.
Can I get my tyres fitted sooner?
We always try to be fast and responsive. If you need a sooner time than the one we offered, call us and we will do our best to bring your booking forward, if the tyres are in stock.
Can I add other services when I get my tyres fitted?
Yes. We provide a number of related services, such as wheel alignment, balancing and battery replacement. Ask when you book.
